?

First one-hundred customers received a Wacom Stylus Pen

Wednesday marked the release of DODOcase's iPad mini Folio, the latest in its line of part case, part notepad tablet covers. Described as an all-in-one solution for digital and analog needs, the case features traditional craft techniques in its production, including bookbinding practices. The interior of the iPad mini Folio includes DODOcase's signature bamboo precision-carved tray on the left side, with its right side occupied by a reporter-style twenty-four page refillable notebook. Additionally, the folio includes four pockets--one for a stylus or pen, a large slash pocket for loose papers, and two small business card holders. The first one-hundred customers who purchased the iPad mini Folio received a free Wacom Bamboo stylus and pen of a $40 value. The iPad mini Folio is available for purchase online for $125, in gray or neon color options.

Light Blue revamped in Version 4.2 update

Light Blue Software announced today its launch of the latest version of Light Blue, an award-winning business management software for photographers. No longer in Beta, version 4.2 adds iPhone and iPad apps to complement the desktop software. The redesign aims to offer a thorough solution for photography business management, combining job tracking with task management, document and email merging, quoting, invoicing, expenditure and reporting. Light Blue's interface has been updated, displaying tools and features in a layout comfortable for both Windows and Mac OS users, due to it being built as a native application for both systems.

Light Blue's iPhone and iPad apps are condensed versions of the desktop software, intended to be used along side Light Blue Software's cloud-based systems. Users can access their information without requiring an internet connection, offering more flexibility in low-network coverage areas. New users of Light Blue can purchase the latest version for $470, and existing users can update their copy for $150. Online services, which are an additional monthly fee of $15 for up to two devices, are required to use the free iPad and iPhone apps. A fully-functioning 30-day trial is available for download.
