House a Player for the 2013 Season?

(Joliet, IL) ? The Joliet Slammers, presented by ATI Physical Therapy, are seeking local families, couples and individuals willing to open their homes to host a player or players for the 2013 season. The Host Family program is vital to the success of the team and offers players a home away from home during the season by matching them with local families.

?The host families are key pieces to the success of the Joliet Slammers organization,? Assistant General Manager/Promotions Kelli Drechsel said. ?If not for the generosity of these families and individuals welcoming our players into their homes, many of these guys would not be able to make their dream of playing professional baseball a reality.?

Those who participate in the Host Family program receive many great benefits including two reserved seat season ticket vouchers for each player they host, a meet and greet party with the players and other host families prior to the start of the season, a pre-game host family recognition ceremony near the end of the season, a discount in The Clink ProShop and other in-season perks.

If you have any questions or would like to become a host family, contact Kelli Drechsel at kdrechsel@jolietslammers.com or 815-722-2287.

To purchase full season tickets, mini plans and group outings, stop by the Slammers Box Office during regular business hours (Monday-Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.) or call (815) 722-2287.
