Rosebud is one of eight dogs that had been living in a crumbling house. Literally, the roof was caving in on the walls, the walls were caving in on the floor and the floor was just caving in. But through all this, with the help of human neighbors, all eight dogs stuck together until rescues could pull together to take these dogs in. STAF took in Rosebud, Hummer and Shine.
Rosebud is a little 20ish pound black mutty mix, our best guess is spaniel. Her nickname is "Bud". She rides well in the car and gets along with all of the other dogs. She takes food gently. She is very attentive and food is a good reward for her in regards to training. She loves, loves, loves human attention. So much so that she barks to get your attention. We're working with her on that and pretty soon she'll know that all she needs to do is look at us with those gorgeous brown eyes and we'll come to her.
Rosebud's estimated birthdate is December 2007. Although it was a crumbling home it was her home and she misses it. She wants one back!

* We do not do same-day adoptions; we ask that you return for a follow-up visit before taking an animal home.
* We require a fenced yard (sorry--no invisible fences) for homes with children under age 13.
* We do request vet and personal references.
* At this time, we are only able to consider applicants within 150 miles of Cincinnati.
